The very beginning

First of all; how did I get involved in this project?
There are two reasons; firstly I new some people at the IPF (international polar foundation) because of the position I had when I was working as head of production in a company that produces photovoltaic solar panels. I had a few meetings at IPF when the station project started, as they needed loads of solar panels.
Second reason is that my father knows Alain Huber (founder of IPF) and during a discussion Alain told my dad they still needed some young motivated people to participate to the expedition. So I jumped on the opportunity and sent e-mails to the people I knew at IPF… and here I am.
